Case study: Channel 4 Unreported World

89up produced all the social content and managed social channels for the 40th series of Channel 4's Unreported World in September 2016

89up's social experts worked with the producer’s of Channel 4’s groundbreaking television series to highlight the key issues in each episode. We matched the tone of the series across all social platforms. Working with a series of episode shorts, we created all the content, ran live events and seeded content with new audiences to generate impact.

From producing live Q&A's, graphics and GIFs to managing talent and ensuring compliance with legal teams and Ofcom regulations, all our content is designed to maximise interaction and engage audiences across platforms.

During the series, individual Unreported World Facebook videos received over 2 million impressions and was viewed by new audiences from across the world.

Josh is a digital communications and marketing specialist who's worked for some of the world's biggest brands, agencies, government, and NGOs.

Clients have included: Unilever, HP, Nissan, Budweiser, NHS, DfE, David Miliband, Damian Collins MP, the TUC and Unite. Josh has vast experience in using big data for media planning and strategy. He is also a tech entrepreneur and is the co-founder of two startups: Responsive Sports and Rentify.
